WRITING
As a Journalism major in college with a few published articles as an intern at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, my first "real" job in my field was as a writer for Guardsmark, a national security services corporation. Meanwhile, I wrote articles in my spare time for publications such as University of Memphis magazine and Southern Women magazine to gain more experience.
As Communications Director of the Memphis Bar Association, my role in the publishing world shifted more to the editing and copy editing side of things, leaving most of the writing to the legal experts. However, I still wrote articles as needed. Below are a few PDF scans of articles published in Memphis Lawyer. I have better quality hard copies of these and other articles on hand and available upon request.
